Honeywell BW Clip O₂ 2Y – Portable Oxygen Gas Detector
The Honeywell BW Clip O₂ 2Y is a compact, lightweight and maintenance-free single-gas detector designed for continuous monitoring of oxygen (O₂) concentrations in potentially hazardous environments. The detector provides a 0–25.0% by volume measuring range, with standard low and high alarm settings of 19.5% and 23.5% O₂ respectively. The alarm setpoints can be adjusted to meet specific application requirements.
Designed for ease of use, the BW Clip O₂ 2Y operates continuously for up to two years after activation, eliminating the need for routine battery charging or battery replacement during its operating life. The detector is activated with simple one-button operation and automatically performs an internal diagnostic test every 24 hours to help verify the condition of the instrument.
The detector provides audible, visual and vibrating alarms, with a powerful 95 dB audible alarm and wide-angle visual alarm indication. It also automatically records the 35 most recent gas events and bump-test results, providing useful information for safety management and incident review. The BW Clip is compatible with Honeywell’s IntelliDoX instrument management system and SafetySuite, allowing organisations to manage detectors, perform bump tests and monitor instrument status more efficiently.
With an IP66/IP67 ingress protection rating, a weight of approximately 92 g, and an O₂ operating temperature range of approximately -20°C to +50°C, the BW Clip O₂ 2Y is designed for demanding industrial and hazardous-area environments.
